Fashion influences many people's choices in clothing from one year to the next. There are some people who do not have much interest in fashion, but then there are those who base their entire wardrobe on what's coming down the runway in New York, Paris, or Milan. Fashion designers are always trying to create something new, much like artists who put paint to canvas or computer users put a mouse to work on a computer screen. They push boundaries to create something that is distinctive and, sometimes, controversial. While most of these designers come up with something that is inaccessible for most consumers, stores try to create a similar look that is affordable for the average consumer, allowing a wider variety of people to buy the latest trends.

Many women and girls want a stylish look in all the clothes they wear. Take a look at fashion dancewear, for example. This is a hot new trend that is taking off. In fact, leotards are making their way off the dance floor and onto the streets. These little Lycra/spandex articles of clothing are worn by gymnasts and dancers alike, proving how flexible these little gems can be. Leggings ...
... are another good example of fashion influencing dancewear. These pieces of clothing can be worn by just about anybody. And pair them with some boots or high heels and you can look and feel like you are hot off the runway.

Besides street clothes, you can see how fashion is influencing things like team dancewear and costume dancewear. If you're a dancer, you don't have to just wear the sparkling tie or tutus. Hip hop dancewear, which is always on the cutting edge, has really skyrocketed in popularity with the rise in this style of music.

This kind of clothing for dancewear wasn't heard of a few decades ago, but the designers at Stars Dancewear which are influenced by fashion and wanted to give fresh life to and take on dancewear, which previously tended to be drab and somewhat hokey.
