Television sets are getting larger and taking up more space at a time when many modern homes are being built with smaller rooms. Although this is a fact that people are generally happy to put up with as the television is a favourite way of spending free time, there are certain times when it could be useful to be able to move the TV to a different part of the room or even a different part of the house. This is where a TV trolley has a huge advantage over other styles of TV stand.

Imagine that you are having some friends over for a party. If you have a static TV stand, your TV is going to take up space that would be better used allowing your guests more room to move around and enjoy the party. Even pushed back against the wall it's possible that the TV could be damaged, or even pushed over. The best option would be if it could be taken out of the room, but usually televisions require too much effort to move around just for a few hours. If the TV were on a TV trolley on the other hand, it would be a simple matter to gently pull the TV out of its usual spot, vacuum behind it and then put the TV back.
