Excessive white discharge from the female genital tract is known as Leucorrhoea. This condition is not fatal but has serious effects on the general health of women. Among the various causes for leucorrhoea or vaginal white discharge, poor hygienic condition is mainly responsible for this disorder. Poor hygienic condition causes infection in the genital tract and vagina producing excess white discharge often followed by a foul odor. Leucorrhoea Herbal Remedies
Herbal remedies are very effective in curing Leucorrhoea completely. These proven herbal remedies can be administered easily and are without any side effects.
1. Application of a smooth paste of mango pulp in the vagina is every effective in reducing this problem.
2. Prepare a decoction boiling 3-4 teaspoonfuls of fenugreek seeds in a liter of water. Drinking this decoction twice a day is very useful in treating leucorrhoea.
3. Cook a handful of rice in half a liter of water and strain the water. Add 2 teaspoonful of sugar and drink the lukewarm water. This treatment should be carried for 3-5 days to get effective result.
4. To a liter of boiled water add 200 grams of lady's finger and simmer for some time. Allow it to cool and drink 70 ml of this decoction after every three hours. This is also an effective remedy for Leucorrhoea.
5. Drinking Cranberry juice is another effective remedy for leucorrhoea.
6. Taking a mixture of powdered Indian gooseberry and honey also produces beneficial results for this condition.
7. One can also try a mixture of turmeric and guggulu in case of thick vaginal discharge and a mixture of turmeric and garlic in case of thin vaginal discharge. Both the mixtures are quite effective in treating different conditions of leucorrhoea.
