Ford launched Explorer in 1990 and it immediately became popular. It is a four-door mid-size SUV. Explorer made SUVs popular world wide though SUVS were in the market before Explorer's debut but they did not attract much attention. There are enough reasons for its popularity. It is versatile, comfortable, affordable, and stylish. At present it is in its third generation introduced in 2002. Some improvements have been made in 2004 and 2006as well. These include better safety features, more powerful engine, new navigation system, and new styling. It is a powerful vehicle that can also be used for towing.

Safety is prime consideration for all types of vehicles. A driver should be able to see clearly on the road under all weather conditions in the day time and also at night. The others on the road should also be able to spot your vehicle. Explorer headlights which are located at the front end of the vehicle and the Explorer tail lights that are located at the rear end play a crucial role in maintaining safety on the road. The bright headlights enable the driver to see clearly on the road at all times. It has to be ensured ...
... that the headlights do not blind the driver of the vehicle coming from the opposite side. The tail lights alert the driver of the vehicle following you of your presence on the road. There are other lights in the tail light assembly which indicate whether you will be turning left or right or going to stop or intend moving in the reverse gear. All this information is very useful for safety.

Headlights and tail lights are both very visible and therefore their designers use them to serve as an adorning feature as well. Explorer headlights and Explorer tail lights are available in a number of designs and styles. With their help you can customize your vehicle. You need wait for them to fade or break before replacing them. They do not cost much and are easy to install so you can replace existing headlights and tail lights just to give a new feel to your car.
