Interesting Contact Lens Features, For Your Eyes Only

Gone are the days when contact lenses used to have very little features. Now, contacts come with features for every possible condition. Here we go:
Contact Lenses for Dry Eyes: Do your contacts get uncomfortably dry? There are soft contact lenses, which are specifically made to keep continuous and sufficient supply of oxygen to your eyes so that it does not get dry. Silicone Hydrogel is the material, which provides five times more supply of oxygen to the eyes than normal.
Coloured Lenses: Almost all type of contacts come in colours to enhance the original colour of the wearer's eyes e.g. make your black eyes glowing black or you can entirely change your eye colour (e.g. from black to blue ).
Lenses with Special Effect: These types of lenses are for those who are quite bold by nature and love to experiment because these lenses (known as costume, theatrical or novelty lenses also) help you look like another alter ego of yours e.g. a zombie with cat eyes or starry eyes.
Prosthetic Lenses: These lenses are a boon for people with disfigured eyes (due to some disease or accident). They can use an opaque ...
... coloured custom lens to serve dual purpose - hide the disfigurement and appear as same as the normal eye is.
Custom Contact Lenses: People who are not able to wear regular contact lenses, due to eyes of irregular shape or too much astigmatism, must go for custom-made contact lenses. These lenses will provide much more comfort and sharp vision than regular ones because of its materials - soft lens and rigid gas permeable (RGP or GP) materials.
UV-blocking lenses: Nowadays, most of the contacts are incorporated with an ultraviolet blocker in the material of the lens. It helps in cutting down on deadly UV rays, otherwise which may result into eye-cataracts and other problems. One cannot see the UV blocker just by looking at it. However, here is a word of caution. Neither contacts can cover the complete eye nor can these UV blockers substitute the sun protection provided by sunglasses.
Hybrid Lenses: These special kind of contacts have a GP center along with a soft outer skirt which eventually makes the gain double for the user. Because it provides the crisp vision like a rigid lens as well as the silky comfort of a large soft lens.
If you are wondering, which brands provide such features in its contact lenses, then let me help you out. Johnson & Johnson contact lenses, Bausch & Lomb contact lenses, Aryan contact lenses, Ciba Vision contact lenses are such brands. These brand offer complete solution to almost any kind of problem with vision. How about trying its contact lenses out?
