Cellulite appears on different parts of the body as deposits of fat, resembling cottage cheese. These fatty deposits are usually observed in women after puberty or in obese persons. These appear on the thighs, buttocks, hips and arm joints. The fatty layers beneath the skin push the connective tissue resulting in unevenness of the skin. 3. Certain physical exercises of thighs, buttocks, arms help in toning and shaping the muscles reducing the problem of cellulite.
4. Avoid eating junk foods and restrict the intake of tea and coffee. These foods aggravate the cellulite condition.
5. Try detoxification diet three times a week eating only fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains. This diet helps in flushing out the toxins and prevents building up of cellulite.
6. Reduce the salt intake in your diet as excess salt aids in fluid retention causing cellulite.
7. Apply a mixture of three tablespoonfuls of apple cider vinegar and one tablespoon of any good massage oil and massage on the affected areas twice daily. This helps in reducing the cellulite.
8. Add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into a glass of water with a little amount of honey. Drink this mixture early in the morning to get rid of cellulite.
9. Exfoliate your skin regularly with the help of a soft brush. This process improves the blood circulation in the skin and prevents development of cellulite.
10. Application of a mixture of the essential oils of rosemary and fennel in almond oil on the affected areas is very useful in reducing the cellulite marks.
