A year since its local launch, Kia Australia has announced availability of its updated Sorrento SUV in the coming year. The 2011 Sorento will have Bluetooth hands-free connectivity and media streaming from the entry Si to the top-shelf Platinum grade. Headlamp Escort function is also been added lighting the path ahead for Driver.

The up-spec SLi and range-topping Platinum models get up gradated in-mirror screens for the rear-view camera, offering a higher-resolution image and parking guidelines. When the car's engine is switched off and the driver's door is opened, platinum's panoramic sunroof alarms for the occupant.

Recommended Retail price for the new version of Sorento Si will remain same with the 2WD automatic, 2.4-litre petrol staying at $36,490. Similarly, its 2.2-litre diesel counterparts in manual and automatic will also remain unchanged costing $39,990 and $41,990 respectively. For an additional $200, the 2.2-litre diesel automatic SLi and Platinum models get the upgraded feature list pricing $46,190 and $49,190 respectively. Both the models will automatic up/down functions for the passenger power window.
