You can make your blog popular and attractive by making it interactive with your audience. This can be done by encouraging the visitors to the blog to leave their comments instead of just reading what you post. There are numerous ways through which a blog can be made interactive for the visitors to post their comments. Below are four most commonly used effective methods.

1. Seek Comments
Most often, visitors would like to be directed on what they need to do. It is a better idea to end the blog post with a direction or request to post comments. For example:

Did you find this article interesting or useful? Please provide your valuable feedback by posting a comment below

You should also make sure that visitors are able to find the comments box easily. If they find it hard to find the comments box, they will just ignore and not post comment.

2. Avoid Including Everything

It is important to avoid including everything that you have to say about the given topic in the post because if you put everything, there is no scope for further questions or feedback. This might be one of the reasons why ...
... not many visitors would not like to comment or add anything to the article. Try to deliberately omit a point or two and at the end of the post, you can request the visitors to comment on anything that you have not covered or if the visitors have different opinion other than yours.

3. Open Ended Posts

Often there are times when certain topics controversial or otherwise, are being discussed to great extent in the internet forums. During such situations, it is advisable to post an open ended blog post. You can post your personal opinions and then ask the readers to comment on what opinions they have or if they agree with you or not. This sort of open ended post certainly triggers the interactivity on the blog. For example you can end your post with below line:

"Do you agree with my points/opinions? I would love to hear about your thoughts about this subject matter..."

4. Rewarding Active Visitors
One of the other methods to increase interactivity in the blog is to hold opinion polls or some sort of competition. For example, you could reward the top three comments with ebook or you can create a new blog post that contains the top 3 comments on a given topic. This will encourage the visitors to comment on your blog.
