Vacuum cleaners are fast becoming indispensable household equipment. They have come a long way since the first Hoover in 1907. Vacuum cleaners are more powerful and efficient now. Models available today are according to the kind of cleaning to be done  home vacuum cleaners, vacuum for car, commercial vacuum cleaners, industrial vacuum cleaners etc. They also come with a variety of attachments like vacs with bags or without, hoses etc. The choices are endless and confusing.
Vacuum cleaners for home use are designed to be used about two or three times a week. Therefore, they are not heavy duty. On the other hand, if a vacuum cleaner is required by a professional cleaning company, an industrial vacuum cleaner would be the better choice as it is designed to be used not just everyday but for seven to eight hours at a stretch. Also they are used to pick up things that a home use vacuum cleaner is not designed to pick. They work on an average of 300 amps of power for a floor type unit and even higher for a central vacuum system.
Commercial vacuum cleaners ...
... operate faster, are a little cheaper and easier to use. Nowadays, they also come with a Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) Green Label. A machine which comes with this certification means that it has passed various tests, which verify its ability to remove soil, clean dust and retain quality carpet appearance. In short, it means that the machine meets the highest standards of performance.
The main priority of a professional cleaning company is to leave the area cleaner and the type of vacuum cleaner they use can help. The efficiency of the company also depends on its portability of the vac as they provide good mobility. For example, if the cleaning crew is responsible for cleaning a lot of stairways or passages, a backpack style of industrial vacuum cleaner is necessary. Or a construction company can do with wet and dry commercial vacuum cleaners as they can suck up wet and dry messes equally well, leaving the area clean.
