There are certain criteria by which the customers assess the suitability of a car or any other vehicle. Usually these are reliability, performance, fuel consumption and running expenses, complying with emission norms, affordability, comfort level, and safety. Safety is always a prime consideration. There are several inbuilt features in a car to provide safety. All these features are important. Even a minor part like tail lights plays a significant role in providing safety. Not only at night but even in day time they are of help. When the visibility is poor due to fog, or mist, or overcast sky, or heavy rain they are of great help. Even in day when there is bright sunlight they convey a lot of information to the driver of the vehicle following you to enable him to drive safely.

Tail lights are no longer just a pair of lights at the rear end of the car. They are an assemblage of lights. Main pair of lights is red which alerts the driver of the car following you of your presence on the road. There are turning lights which are yellow in color. They indicate your intention of turning left or right. There are brake lights and ...
... parking lights as well. There are lights which shine when you intend to move in the reverse direction. All such information helps the driver following you to adjust his movements according to these indications. There are brighter LED tail lights which enhance the utility of tail lights as they can be seen from a longer distance. Since tail lights are a safety feature they have to conform to certain regulations made by the department of transport.

The designers of tail lights have not allowed the tail lights to be only a safety feature. Taking advantage of their visibility they have converted them in a cosmetic feature as well. They now cover a larger area on the rear of a vehicle. You have the low cost option of giving a new look and feel to your car by replacing your existing tail lights. The tail lights do deserve a second glance. You can see more about tail lights at www.buytaillights.com.
