There are an overwhelming number of options when it comes to selecting an exhibition or trade show, both in terms of where to display and why. It could be your first time attending an exhibition show, you might already be devoted to a few favorites, or you might be searching for something different after being let down by past exhibitions.

However, if you want to maximise your return on investment, picking the proper event is crucial. Even while the major trade shows in your sector might always be a "must-have" in your marketing strategy, it's a good idea to do your homework before making a commitment. What, then, must be taken into account while selecting an exhibition space? Let’s start the discussion together.

Ignore Entrance and Exit
Visitors entering the venue, especially for larger and more well-attended events or exhibitions, will be eager to get out of the usually crowded area as soon as possible so they can get acquainted with the space. It's likely that they won't even notice ...
... your stand as they go by. Similarly, by the time guests are leaving, they have accomplished what they set out to do, are most likely exhausted, and are prepared to depart. A little farther in, or even toward the center of the exhibition hall, might be a better place for your booth.

Target High-Traffic Areas
Simple and fast sharing: Instantly exchange your details with a quick tap or scan using NFC technology or a QR code, eliminating the need for manual data entry. With Bitly QR Codes, one quick scan makes contact sharing effortless across different platforms, ensuring your digital card is easily accessible whether someone is using iOS, Android, or another compatible device.

Floor Space
Not all exhibition space is made equal when it comes to exhibitions. When it comes to large exhibition venues, it's frequently the case that if you pick the wrong location, you will be ignored by your closest competitors or left high and dry with no passing foot traffic. Visibility, accessibility, and visual impact are essential components of a successful exhibition booth. Avoid placing your stand next to any physical obstacles that could conceal it or detract from its impact when choosing an exhibition location.

Budget
Finally, the last thing to remember is the budget. You will feel more in control of your expenses and get a greater return on investment if you create an appropriate budget early on. Check out our budget checklist to help you and management have a clear plan up front.
