Concrete is a very versatile construction material. It is present nearly in every house, building or any establishment in the civilized world. Commonly used in walls, floorings and building foundations, concrete is considered as one of the core construction materials alongside steel, glass and wood.

Being one of the materials suitable to build strong and lasting structures, concrete must be studied and be developed in order to minimize major construction error, which could cost millions, even billions if worse comes to worst. Scientists are conducting research on concrete to improve the two qualities that made concrete one of the strongest materials man had discovered: sheer strength and flexibility.

But, even if man is making tremendous efforts to improve concrete, failures on the material is still possible to occur. Concrete is flexible as rubber, having the ability to fill out any shapes and forms. But this also makes concrete somehow less dense within, as it expands when temperature drops down and crackles when the temperature surges up. And this makes concrete also one of the most inspected construction materials ...
... in terms of infrastructure surveying.

Concrete repair foundation is specially done by experts. They have the knowledge on how to repair foundation of each building, which is studied and worked out for years before being an authorized professional in the infrastructure industry.

One way how to repair foundation is through injection of a material called polyurethane. After the whole structure, especially the concrete foundation, is surveyed and analyzed for faults and stresses, holes are drilled on strategic points across the entire foundation. The polyurethane is then allowed to seep through on nooks and crannies present in the foundation. The material then locks out all spaces and bonds them together, acting like glue for the concrete.

In-depth research on how to repair foundation is done before any of the construction work is allowed to proceed. In this complex and risky situation when the whole foundation of the establishment is at stake, there is really no room for even a single error because money, time, effort and lives are at stake as well.
