Inspired by fitness, determination and community spirit, Pune has witnessed the enthusiastic 3rd edition of the Punekar Half Marathon, which was successfully held on Sunday, 1 February at Kharadi as thousands of runners took to the streets in the early hours of the morning with the motto of Stop Obesity - Run for a Healthier Tomorrow. The third edition of the Punekar Half Marathon was organised by Fitcover 360 with a bigger and bolder purpose than ever before. The event began as a running event and has now emerged as one of Pune’s impactful fitness initiatives. This year’s edition highlighted that every step taken was not just for personal achievement, but a pledge toward a fitter family and a healthier society.

Race day has started with check-in at 4:30 AM for the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K categories. iFinish was the official Registration Partner for seamless operations. iFinish platform effortlessly managed online sign-ups and data, allowing participants to focus on sports while organisers ensured a smooth on-ground execution.

The marathon was supported by a clear cause fighting obesity across all ages. Participants became Stop Obesity ambassadors, as seasoned athletes, professionals, students and families, to prove that fitness is accessible for everyone. Bollywood action director Rohit Shetty, who was the Race Ambassador, brought star power and motivation.
