How The Pros Melt Away Pressure - A Unique Psychology Of Golf

The dying minutes of every golf competition carries intense pressure. And it's your job to handle it.
The Secret?
Don't try to blugeon your nerves out of existence. They're a natural part of competing. Instead, melt them away. Like butter. In the 2006 Senior Players Championship,Bobby Wadkins snagged his first major golf title with a 12-foot putt on the 72nd hole. Wadkins had made five straight birdies to take the lead, but a horrendous bunker shot meant he had to sink the putt to win the tournament. And Wadkins was feeling the pressure.
'Anyone who says they aren't feeling the pressure at that stage of the game is telling alie,' said Wadkins. 'The tournament should have been over and I was giving it away.' Wadkins admitted what every good athlete knows. No matter how much golf psychology training you do, sport has pressure moments. The key to managing these moments is making friends with them instead of dreading them. The easiest way to make friends with pressure is to accept your nerves. You say to yourself, 'It's quite natural to feel a bit of anxiety right now. Of course I'm a little stressed. 'Then, ...
... you turn your focus towards key elements of your next shot - connecting to your swing rhythm or reading a green. What's next is the focus, not your anxiety. By making friends with pressure and refusing to fight it, you melt it away - and bring yourself back to your performance. Try it. You might like it. And speaking of sports psychology golf, if you haven't gotten that part of your golfing life handled yet, I suggest you do it now. You can completely transform your results if you're willing to learn the proper golf psychology for winning under pressure. Unfortunately, most golfers are crippling their mental toughness without even knowing it.
Here's why: because the golf psychology they are using is incomplete...and if you don't know about the missing pieces hoarded by superstar athletes, you will not win under pressure no matter how hard you try. My name is Lisa Lane Brown and discovering these missing pieces made me a three time World Champion in my sport.
