Recently, the Indian Women’s Cricket Team secured a dominant 88-run win over arch-rivals Pakistan in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, this victory marked India’s 12th consecutive win over Pakistan in Women's One Day Internationals (ODIs). Notably, Pakistan’s women’s team is yet to defeat India in the ODI format.

In the ICC Women’s World Cup 2009, India faced Pakistan in a group stage match held in Bowral, Australia. India delivered a dominant performance, bowling out Pakistan for just 57 runs. Indian bowlers, led by Amita Sharma and Goswami, dismantled the batting lineup. India comfortably chased the target in 10 overs, winning the match by 10 wickets. This convincing victory highlighted India’s strength and Pakistan’s inexperience at the time, marking their first Women’s World Cup encounter.

In 2013, the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack hosted the second Women’s World Cup clash between India and Pakistan. Batting first, Pakistan posted a competitive total of 192/7, with standout performances from Nida Dar (68) and Nain Abidi (58). In reply, India comfortably chased down the target, led by a brilliant unbeaten century (103) from Mithali Raj*, guiding the team to an easy victory. Her composed innings ensured India maintained their winning streak over Pakistan in World Cup encounters.

The India vs Pakistan Women’s World Cup 2017 match was considered one of the most thrilling encounters in the history of this rivalry. However, it eventually turned into a one-sided affair. Played as part of the high-voltage derby, India won the toss and chose to bat first. Despite a solid start, Nashra Sandhu’s excellent bowling restricted India to a modest cricket score of 169 runs.
At one point, it seemed like Pakistan might finally break their losing streak against India in the Women’s ODI World Cup. However, Indian bowlers delivered a stunning performance, completely dismantling the Pakistani batting lineup and bowling them out for just 74 runs, securing a comprehensive 95-run victory. Ekta Bisht was the star with the ball, claiming 5 wickets, playing a crucial role in India’s dominant win.

In the 2022 Women’s World Cup, India and Pakistan faced each other for the fourth time on the biggest stage of women’s cricket. Batting first, India posted a strong total of 244/7, thanks to crucial half-centuries from Smriti Mandhana, Pooja Vastrakar, and Sneh Rana.
In response, Pakistan once again struggled with the bat and were bowled out for just 137 runs, handing India a comfortable victory. For India, Rajeshwari Gayakwad was the pick of the bowlers, taking 4 wickets.

5. India vs Pakistan, ICC Women’s World Cup 2025

The most recent clash between the Indian and Pakistani women’s teams took place during the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. In this match, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. Batting first, India posted a total of 247 runs in their 50 overs.
In reply, Pakistan were bowled out for just 159 runs, falling short by a significant margin. For Pakistan, Diana Baig was the standout performer with the ball, taking 4 wickets. On the Indian side, Kranti and Deepti Sharma each picked up 3 wickets, helping India secure another convincing win in this long-standing rivalry.
