Well looks like you have finally managed to decide that something should be done about the ugly concrete surface in front of your eyes. Although water alone can remove dirt from concrete, power scrubbers often are needed to remove stubborn stains. Many concrete contractors recommend scrubbing the surface with power scrubbers before power-washing the area. Concrete is porous, holds dirt well, and can be a tough surface to clean. Understanding what power scrubbers do and how they work can save your time and money on your next cleaning project. Power scrubbers by surrounding and entrapping stubborn oil or organic-based dirt, a soap or cleaner allows the grime to be rinsed away more easily. There are a multitude of contamination and dirt in a wide variety of environmental conditions that power scrubbers can easily clean.

Glues, caulk, mastics or other heavy contaminants

You may encounter deposits that refuse to surrender to your best cleaning efforts. If normal cleaning is ineffective at removing glues, caulk, mastics, or other heavy contaminants apply power scrubbers along with the concrete cleaner.

Oil ...
... and Grease

Removal of stubborn oil and grease oil from parking lots, driveways, walkways, and other concrete pavements is the most common concrete power-scrubbing application. Some contractors use at least a little concrete cleaner and scrubbers for most jobs, even to remove dirt, which can be somewhat oily.

Rust

Rust stains are stubborn that can penetrate deeply into your flooring surface, so they can be hard to remove completely. Cleaners containing oxalic acid and power scrubbers are most effective; one can easily remove specific stains such as heavy rust stain.

Scrub the surface methodically

You must scrub the surface methodically to eliminate any stain residue and to neutralize the surface. Concrete contractors suggested using a neutralizing solution of water combined with ammonia or baking soda followed by rinsing with clean water. Clean surroundings serve as the centerpiece of the home, both visually and socially. Family and guests inevitably gravitate to this soothing, flickering backdrop for conversation and mingling.

However, many of us are not aware of how to clean concrete. Just the idea of cleaning can be intimidating, tiring and daunting. Yet, it is not difficult to clean concrete stain. Scrubbing your concrete is one of the wisest decisions you can make when it comes to cleaning the area inside or outside of your place. The resulting concrete floor finishes combine beauty and creativity with the economy, durability, and practicality of concrete.

Nothing does a better job of anchoring clean living room that a quality power scrubber. You can also use an alkaline soap. Residue can be scrubbed off with a broom, mop, or floor scrubber and then picked up by an acid-resistant wet vacuum. You must also take safety precautions when disposing of the residue and rinse water.

If you are negligent in the cleaning process, it can literally change the entire end effect. A substandard cleaning job will really show up once the power scrubber is applied.
