What is it?

Radicular syndrome results in pain and other symptoms such as numbness, tingling and weakness in the arms or legs. The quality and type of pain can vary, from dull, aching and difficult to localized, sharp and burning.

How it causes pain:

Radicular syndrome is caused by compressed or irritated nerve roots. The source of this compression in many cases is direct pressure from a bulging or herniated intervertebral disc. Compression can also be the result of Spinal Stenosis or Facet Disease.
