Costa Rica Sportfishing

A little while back four friends planned a sportfishing trip to Costa Rica with Capt. Jose Sapiano of Angry Marlin Sport Fishing, www.angrymarlin.com. They had been fishing with him a couple times over the last few years on the classy Costa Rica Charter boats, once off Tambor Fishing where they caught yellowfin tuna, and once again off Los Suenos Fishing near Jaco where they caught sailfish and wahoo. This time they planned to fish for two days which was specially meant to experience the true adventure of Costa Rica sportfishing, first day for marlin and dorado and another day in the gulf of the nicoya, fishing roosterfish and snook, which Fishing Costa Rica on a full go.

The four guys had been planning this adventurous trip since last year and were really looking forward to it, they made full plans for this exciting one even by referring the famous Costa Rica fishing report so as to experience the fishing Costa Rica to the fullest. But one weeks before the group was to leave, Don's, wife put her foot down and told him he wasn't going to Costa Rica this ...

Don's friends were very disappointed that he couldn't go, but what could they do? Don too was disappointed, To Don a bad day of fishing is better than a good day of checking off the honey do list! So Don called Capt. Jose in Costa Rica to let him know the trips this year would be without him but that the other guys would be there.

Two weeks later the guys arrived in Costa Rica without Don, Capt. Jose picked them up at the airport and took them to there hotel. When they arrived to their hotel, to their amazement they found Don sitting there in the lobby with his poles and equipment in hand ready to go!

Floored Capt. Jose shouts out, "dang brother! How long you been here? How the heck did you ever talk your wife into letting you go?"

Don said "Well, I've been here since last night. Two days ago, I was sitting in my chair watching TV, when my wife came up behind me and put her hands over my eyes and said, 'Guess who?'"

I pulled her hands off my eyes and she was wearing a brand new nightie. She took my hand and took me up to our bedroom. The room had candles and rose petals all over. On the bed she had handcuffs, and ropes! She told me to tie and cuff her to the bed, so I did.

Then she said, "do whatever you want."

So, here I am and I know if I don't bring home any fish I'm going to really catch hell!

So the adventurous fishing Costa Rica had begun on a nice sporty Costa Rica Charter Boats equipped with all that is required. This reminded of their Tambor fishing and Los Suenos fishing were they were successful in catching hand full fishes.

In this trip of Costa Rica sportfishing they aimed for the large ones like marlin and roosterfish. In their study of Costa Rica fishing report they had found that costa rica sportfishing was famous for the Marlins from all across the world.

By the end of two days they were successful in capturing some very unique and life lasting memories in their cameras as well in their hearts, of course with good amount of fishes. Among the four Don was the most successful one in catching some very good ones for his wife!!
