B. Avis Island

This beautiful island offers visitors a 20-mins boat ride far from Mayabunder. What visitors usually can watch here is coconut plantation & due to no population existence this island is abandoned for the general public. A special order must be asked if someone wishes to visit these islands from the forest department.

Chengappa Bridge

Chengappa Bridge is one of the longest bridges used to be seen in Andaman which usually connects North & Middle Andaman. Its named after the Respected B.S. Chengappa (a renowned Forest officer).

This bridge is the biggest & longest in Andaman to see. The bridge is 268 m long RC bridge simply supported over 12 cast in place piers.

The bridge was damaged on 26 December 2004 Sumatra earthquake..
