Eczema is called as dermatitis. This causes inflammation of the skin with itchiness, thickening, red appearance and scaling skin eruptions. It leads to the discharge of fluid from the area due to the toxins formed in the body. Commonly it appears on the arms, wrists, neck, upper chest and face. It is not an infectious disease. Infants and small children are majorly infected by it. It is a non contagious disease and can be often linked to allergies and asthma. This disease is time and again seen to have caused due to hereditary reasons. Eczema can get aggravated by irritants like solvents, smoke, detergents, and chemicals and so on. The weather state too can worsen the condition. Too much stress also will exaggerate the symptoms of eczema.
Eczema can be caused due to allergies, faulty body metabolism, cold and dry types of weather and few nutritional deficiencies. Irritation caused due to smoke, blood circulation problem and deficiency of vitamin B6.
The symptoms of Eczema are like extreme itching, appearance of rashes and burns, soreness on skin, small swellings on forehead, neck and cheek.

There are certain limits that one will have to draw who are suffering from this skin disorder. Avoid using soaps and detergents on the skin that is inflamed. Rather using soaps that are mild in nature should be used. Always use warm water to take bath and then wiping the body with soft towel. Keeping the house clean and dust free will help to fight with the cause of the disease. Steam bath clubbed with sun bath is a good and effective natural remedy.
None of the skin disease can be fought successfully unless cleanliness and a proper balanced diet are maintained.
