The Chantilly Doctor

Man, by nature, is a social animal. Although the saying that no man is an island might sound clichéd, it actually holds true even in today's world. We have a built-in system that makes it possible for us to show concern and care for the people around us. However, there are some people who have the ability to show more concern and care than usual.
If you are one of the few people who find satisfaction in caring for others, you might want to consider a career in the medical field. In order to ready your path to being a doctor of medicine, one of the first things that you need to work on would be your undergraduate studies. You would need to complete a degree in basic sciences such as Biology or Chemistry.
Once you have earned your undergraduate degree, you can now start choosing which medical school you would like to go to. Usually, it would take you four years to complete medical school. Your first two years would focus more on the study of basic sciences such as anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and pharmacology, among others. On the other hand, your last two years would be spent doing clinical rotations. This ...
... would help you decide later on which area you would like to specialize in.
An aspiring Chantilly doctor would also need to undergo a residency program. This is technically a paid on-the-job training which would allow you to practice your course under the supervision of a senior physician. Should you decide to specialize in one area, you might also need to undergo a fellowship program after your internship.
Once the aspiring Chantilly doctor has finished his or her internship as well as fellowship program, the next step would be to secure a license. In most state in the US, it is considered unlawful to practice a number of healing arts without the necessary license. This license has to be renewed every year as failure to renew such can be subject to a disciplinary action.
Becoming a full-fledged Chantilly doctor would mean either setting up your own private practice or working for large hospital. These, however, are not your only choices as you can also work for urgent care clinics as well as join other doctors in their private practice.
