Owning a motorcycle is not the big deal; the aim should be to become a responsible rider. You have to be cautious in your approach so that you become a safer and better rider. We have listed the do’s and don’ts for you once you step on the road:

Things Not to Do:

Don’t just focus on the road in front of you. What we mean is that while you focus on the road directly in front, you should also focus ahead to see the position of approx. 4-5 vehicles in front of you. Look at your side mirror to remain aware of the other vehicles behind you. This way you will be able to maintain a proper distance.

Do not drive slower than the traffic. Just because you need to ride carefully does not mean that you have to ride slowly. It equally dangerous to drive slowly just like driving fast. Make sure that you follow the sped limit at all times.

Don’t ride a bike that is too big for you. We understand that you have a fascination for a bigger bike but if you are of small stature, you will be uncomfortable when it comes to riding ...
... the bike. You may lose control of the bike and can fall down any time. Imagine, this happens in a busy road. Can you guess what will be the outcome?

You should never ride a bike under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In fact, you should avoid riding the bike if you are sleepy. You never know when your eyes will close and even before you know it, your bike will ram into another vehicle.

Things to Do:

Always wear proper safety gears while riding a bike. A full helmet is mandatory. You should wear leather gloves in order to get a better grip on the handles while riding.

Do undergo a motorcycle safety class before you hit the road. This will make you better prepared and you will have a clear understanding of how to ride on a busy road.

Do get your bike serviced from time to time so that your vehicle remains in top-notch condition and you can expect good performance out of it.
