Environmental Concerns
Solar energy does not produce carbon emissions, although some environmentally unfavourable materials can be used to make solar panels and related technologies. Manufacturers may be able to stop using these potentially dangerous materials as solar technology advances, but for now, they undermine the otherwise significant environmental advantages solar electricity provides.
