In 2018, Forbes magazine released its list of the world’s 100 highest-paid athletes. Of those 100 athletes, a whopping 20 were golfers. That number is up from 18 the previous year and 15 in 2016. The total earnings of the 20 golfers on the list was $965 million.

In 2023, these are the 10 highest-paid golf players in the world:

2. Phil Mickelson – $50.8 million
3. Jordan Spieth – $33.7 million
4. Rory McIlroy – $24.7 million
5. Dustin Johnson – $22.9 million
6. Jason Day – $20.8 million
7. Sergio Garcia – $19.6 million
8. Rickie Fowler – $17.9 million
9. Henrik Stenson – $16.4 million
10. Justin Thomas – $15.4 million
