Garden Tree Nursery
Stunning South Derbyshire is best enjoyed in summer when the flowers are in full bloom and when the glossy leaves form the perfect foil for an eruption of bold colours to brighten even the gloomiest of English days. When it rains, it's off to the garden nursery and more joys of the English summer and for me to enjoy over a cup of tea and a bun under a garden tree. Surrounded by a woodland garden, the garden nursery that I frequently visit has a charming feel to it and helps me feel at one with nature.
People say that as you get older you learn to appreciate the simple things in life, be it a sunset, a flower or a simple garden tree. That is what nature intended for us all and that is a piece of life that
should sit with us when we close our eyes at night or look back on life.
We are all destined to become old like the old garden tree. The old garden tree watches as families take their strolls- some aware of the beauty of their surroundings, other oblivious to it. Even when parents bring their children to ...
... the garden nursery, children rush on by nature's miracle, appreciating the greenery. But parents know, especially the grandparents that these days will come back in the children memories when they are older and when they bring their own children here .
A walk around a garden nursery is more fulfilling than a day in the shopping mall and cheaper too. It leaves you tired but strangely invigorated. When I was young we regularly visited our local garden nursery just to break up a Sunday or a long bank holiday weekend. Even now I can muster up names of trees and flowers that I saw; the Field Maple or the Mountain Ash and varied types of conifers. The sweet grassy smells still set off a range of emotions of those lazy Sundays at the garden nursery.
I hope that my family enjoys as much as I do the quiet times that we spend at the tree nursery. It truly is a sacred time for me as I enjoy time passing slowly under the garden tree or just roaming the , tree nursery. I finish with the words of William Blake: And into my garden stole, When the night had veiled the pole, In the morning glad I see, My foe outstretched beneath the garden tree.
