What is it?
ACS Migration Skills Assessment is an assessment system for migration purposes by IT professionals. The Australian Computer Society (ACS) conducts this assessment.
ACS reviews their personal identification documents first. After that, it assesses their educational qualifications and work experience to ensure they are at a professional ICT level. It also makes sure that their work experience, skills and knowledge harmonizes with the nominated occupation (ANZSCO) for migration purposes.
So, if you apply for this assessment, ACS will review your qualifications to determine the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) comparability. The course units your qualification will be evaluated carefully. ACS will do so to determine if the professional ICT content is considered an ICT professional unit or not.
The result of the assessment will note if your qualification is a Major, Minor or if the ICT content is insufficient. ...
