Many of us are confused as to whether we should take a shower or not right after you undergo a massage. This question is more common than you can ever imagine. Today, we are going to address this issue and clear your confusion right away. In most Indian massages in Melbourne, different types of oils and lotions are used. Are you not sure whether these oils are meant to be soaked by your body or are they good as long as the massage is being done? You will soon find the answer.

Shower Before Massage - It is Way Better:

Most of the experienced massage therapists will advise you to take a shower right before you take the massage. This is always a better idea. This way, the water will rinse off the perspiration from your body. If there is any dirt or dust in your body, the water will wash it away. Moreover, a warm bath helps to loosen up the muscles in your body. This way, your body is better prepared to soak in the benefits of the massage.

Shower After Massage - It is Better to Avoid:

Since ...
... most of the Indian massages in Melbourne use different types and kinds of oils or lotions, it is better not to take a shower after the massage. Let your body absorb the oil and soak in the benefits. The next morning when you take the shower, you will be getting rid of the excess oil. If you take the shower after the massage, all the oils and lotions will be washed away. Your body will feel dry and the body will hardly absorb anything. There is no point in having a massage if you take a shower right after it. Just like the way, we don’t wash our face after we get a facial done, in a similar fashion you don’t go for a shower after the massage.

Showering Post Massage -Watch the Water Temperature:

In case, you want to take a shower after a massage, irrespective of whether essential oils have been used or not, you should make sure that the water temperature is just perfect. It should neither be too hot or too cold. If the water is too hot you will experience dizziness, especially when you have low blood pressure. So, please pay attention to the water temperature before you opt for a shower.

It is up to you whether you will go for a shower or not!
