Post-manufacturing Process And Stages In The Packing Of Products

In general, the post-manufacturing procedure where the finished product is put into a proper container and kept ready to be sent to the go-down, store, sales counter, or prospective customer is called the packaging process. However, this post-manufacturing process isn’t as simple and easy as it sounds. Following the completion of the manufacturing process, the packaging process, which is indeed a complex procedure because it involves many methods and types that are dependent on the nature and physical state of the product, is decided, and the type of outer packaging, that is, whether it requires an outer box or not, is decided. In the life cycle of the packaging process, commencing from the first inception of the packaging, which apparently is the design, and going down to the moment it is opened by the consumer, every step should be considered crucial. While we talk about the separate stages that the packaging process goes through, each of those stages or phases encounters its own unique challenges. The separate stages are: initialization of manufacturing, fulfilment of the product production, individual packing and bulk ...
... packing for transportation, and finally reaching the fully ready products to their target users. Aside from that, there are a few critical points to consider during the initial filling process regarding the product and the packaging so that it arrives at its destination in good condition and ready for use.
The first step, the manufacturing of the product, will impact not only the manufacturing but also the overall price of the product and the timeline allotted for the completion of the manufacturing. Next, based on the physical state of the product, whether liquid, solid, powder, semisolid, and so on, the filling and assembling process takes place. Here again, if the product is in the liquid state, then suitable filling equipment, which may either be a fully automatic liquid filling machine or a semi-automatic liquid filling machine of the right variety, must be employed to carry out the filling process. Since there are a good number of filling machines that are available, which are manufactured by reputed companies like Feige Asia, they offer a wide variety of filling machines that are suitable for a range of products like liquids, solids, semisolids, pasties, and other physical states. Once the filling process is completed, the product will be placed in the outer cover or box, or bulk packaging, in which the individual pieces or packages are packed in known numbers in larger boxes, preferably cartoon boxes, and then sent to the go-down or stores for further transportation from there.
In the case of stocking the huge go-downs or stores, the palletizing systems come in handy. The bulk packs or boxes are stacked one upon another in sequence using the palletizer system. From the store, the boxes are sent to the dispatch yard, depending on the order received, to be loaded into transport vehicles. The mode of transporting goods within the premises is usually done using a conveyor systems. This arrangement is quite handy and useful, reducing the otherwise cumbersome manual carrying of boxes. Finally, once the products leave the point of origin, the transporters take care of the shipment and assure that it reaches its destination safely as per plan.
