One of the ways that disputes can be resolved is through negotiation. Negotiation is one of the first options that are available to people within a dispute who are looking ...

Arbitration is a completely different process where the specific dispute is submitted with agreement from the parties and the arbitrator makes a binding decision about the decision. To make it completely fair, the arbitrator will need to hear the side of both parties before making their decision. There are a few distinguishing characteristics of arbitration. One of the factors is the fact that it is consensual, as it can only take place if both parties within the dispute have agreed on the terms. Another aspect of arbitration is the fact that it is completely confidential.

Mediation is another way that conflict can be resolved. Through mediation, an independent mediator is used to assist the parties within the dispute to agree.
