These walking sticks are long lasting and of the proper length for the user so that it becomes easy for them to balance. Traditional non foldable sticks are best suited for those who require it each time they sit or stand. These have less advantages over folding walking sticks. Like these come in fixed length and are heavy to carry and are non foldable. Also, the right kind of end is needed for such walking sticks. Because each shape provides different types of grips and has different balancing rates as well.


Getting a walking stick of the correct height is important for the elderly. A good walking stick can help the elderly by offering them with a good posture and balance. It helps them provide stability and avoid stooping from their back, creating an imbalance in their body. It also helps them to sit and stand up. There are many choices in the mobility aids, but a walking stick is used mostly as it comes handy and has many different options to choose from. Depending on the condition, you can choose the foldable, non foldable, wooden, or aluminium walking stick. Every type comes with its own advantages and disadvantages. Like you cannot change the height in wooden sticks, but you can in foldable sticks. Based on the condition of the elderly, you need to choose the correct fit for them.
