Most people associate genetic hair loss with male-pattern hair loss. This is genetically passed to children from their mothers. This is most commonly experienced by men. However, it can also affect women.

Genetic hair loss in women can be identified by receding hairline, or balding crown. Sometimes this can lead to severe thinning and the woman needing to wear a wig to hide her thinness. Although it is rare in female, but can lead to a exposed scalp.

There are several treatments that women can consider for this condition. These include shampoos, conditioners, and topical treatments (like Rogaine for Women), which stimulate hair growth and prevent further loss; vitamins; and stimulatory therapies such as massage or infrared therapy.
The major reasons:

Chemical processes
Although most chemical hair loss is caused by operator error, it is possible to be affected by any chemical treatments you do at home.
These cases however can't be considered as the reason for this problem. The treatments include protein treatments and other conditioning treatments that is done for strengthening . It is ...
... important to stop using thermal styling tools or undergoing further chemical treatments until your hair grows out completely.

Due to stress
It can be quite severe in cases of extreme stress. This is called alopeciaareata. Alopecia areata, which means "Hair loss in areas or spots", can cause bald spots on the scalp. This can be very alarming, but it's not permanent. Most people who experience this will regrow their hair once the stress has been removed.
This condition is treatable. Your doctor will recommend that you make changes to your diet and other suggestions to reduce stress. It can take several months before your hair grows back, even after you have eliminated the stressors.

Illness can cause this problem
Any type of surgery or prolonged illness can cause this problem. Hair can also become brittle or break off from medications taken to treat certain illnesses. During chemotherapy it is most common. This affects every part of the body and is usually complete.
There are no treatments that can prevent or promote growth after illness, surgery, or chemotherapy, but this condition is temporary. Regular trims can help promote hair growth. Vitamin supplements might also prove beneficial.

Keratin is a protein that makes up hair. we care so much about it and it is made up of dead cells. The follicle is the part of the hair that is alive. It is located below the scalp. The sebaceous glands, which make hair shiny and vibrant, are located near the follicle. The sebaceous glands can make hair oily or dry, depending on how much sebum is produced.

The following are the herbs for hair growth:
* Massage with good herbal oil which can make your hair more shinier and more lifeless.
* Henna is a great treatment. It is a popular and traditional treatment that promotes growth. This herb can be found in the tropics. Henna can also be used as a natural color. It can be mixed with other herbs such as coffee, gooseberry and lemon juice. This combination is a great remedy for hair loss.
* Warm oil can be used to massage. Warm coconut milk can be massaged with a fresh green coconut. This should be done for about an hour. This will make your hair soft and shiny.
* Apply Aloe Vera gel once a week, then wash it.
* Infections that damage the hair follicles are usually responsible for hair loss. This infection can be treated by using water containing Neem leaves, which has been boiled for five minutes. Neem can be used as a natural disinfectant that doesn't cause damage to the hair shaft. It can also be used to treat dandruff which is a big reason of this problem.
* Warm oil mixed with honey and one teaspoonful cinnamon powder should be massaged into the scalp. The mixture should remain on the scalp for approximately 15 minutes. This will stimulate growth and keep it shiny and soft.
* Apply crushed olive leaves with vinegar.
* Apply a paste of honey and eggs yolk. Lemon juice can be used to counter the egg smell.

A diet high in Vitamin A is essential if you want to prevent this problem. You can find these multivitamins in green leafy vegetables such as spinach, milk, sprouted beans, and salads. These are the good choices that you should not skip. You will naturally have healthy hair and good growth by increasing your intake of protein rich foods.
