When pruning, leave 0.5-1m long new shoots near the upper edge of the tree, cut off all secondary shoots, and the left part is called fruiting mother branches; After leaving 2-3 buds on the top of the new shoot, the remaining part is cut off, and the remaining part is called preparatory branch.

5.In the spring of the next year, the spike pinching tip is easy to form flower buds at the 5th-9th bud of the fruiting mother branch, and the lower 1-4 buds rarely form flower buds. Even if flower buds are formed, flower spikes should be pinched, and flower spikes are not allowed on the preparatory branch. Once found, they should be pinched, leaving only two new shoots. The pruning of these two new shoots is the same as that of the two new shoots in the first year.
