If you want to buy air compressor you should take a number of things into account. The most important questions you can ask yourself are: What do I want to do with the compressor? How long in a row do I want to be able to use the compressor? Do I want an oil-free or oil-lubricated compressor? Go through the five steps below and you will find out which compressor is most suitable for you.
STEP 1: WHAT DO I WANT TO DO WITH THE COMPRESSOR?
A compressor draws in air and compresses it to make it available again under high pressure. With this air pressure you can drive all kinds of air tools. The most important question to ask yourself is: what type of air tools do I want to power? The air tool determines which air pressure and air delivery is required. Depending on your job and tools, you choose the right compressor for you. Every compressor on the 9jabizz website states whether it is oil-free or oil-lubricated, how large the air tank is (this in turn determines how quickly the compressor starts again before the air buffer is exhausted), what the suction power is (how fast is the air tank again). filled) and what the ...
... effective air output is.
A tip: use our filters in the menu to quickly make a choice. If you would like additional information about models industrial supplies, you can of course always respond under the product with a product question.
STEP 2: HOW BIG SHOULD MY AIR TANK (BUFFER) BE AND HOW MUCH AIR (PRESSURE) IS REQUIRED?
If you are going to buy air compressor and use very intensively, it is important that you choose a compressor with a large capacity of the air tank. The larger the boiler, the longer it takes for the boiler to fall below a minimum pressure set by you using the manometer. As a result, the engine starts less quickly to top up the boiler. In some applications, such as spray painting, it is important to have a constant pressure. With a small boiler, the pressure gradually decreases. When spraying paint, this would result in an uneven final product. This is because the compressor then gives less and less pressure. A small boiler ensures that you can easily transport and move the compressor.
Speaking of spraying paint, it is important that oil-free air is supplied. This is most easily done by choosing a sufficiently powerful oil-free compressor. You could also opt for an oil-lubricated compressor, however, then you will have to take various measures to filter out the oil present in the supplied air, by means of a filter system.
The boiler or tank is intended as a buffer. This allows you to compensate for a less high suction capacity. For continuous use, it is important that a compressor can deliver more air than the tool needs.
To buy air compressor you need to know how much air you need. This is expressed in liters per minute. Then check the manual of your device (e.g. a paint sprayer) to see what the consumption is. Multiply this by 1.5 to calculate the required capacity.
STEP 3: DO I NEED AN OIL-FREE OR AN OIL-LUBRICATED COMPRESSOR?
Oil-free compressors have the advantage that they are maintenance-friendly and that they blow out oil-free air. This is important for certain spray painting applications and sensitive equipment. With an oil-lubricated compressor, you have to keep checking and topping up the oil level and change the oil every now and then. In general, oil-lubricated compressors are more durable and make significantly less noise.
STEP 4: WHAT ELSE SHOULD I PAY ATTENTION TO?
As mentioned above, your application and thus the air tool to be used determines which specifications your compressor must meet. We have listed them for you for the sake of completeness:
• Mobility : if the compressor needs to be easily moved or even transported, it is of course so nice that it is not too heavy and has a nice handle and/or wheels.
• Saving space : Not everyone has the same amount of space in their home or garage, of course. That is why it is good to think about the available space in advance. There are 2 different types of compressors: those with a standing air tank or those with a horizontal air tank. In terms of floor space, the standing models often take up less space.
• Air Tank Capacity : As mentioned before, the larger the air tank, the longer it takes for the compressor to start again and the more constant the outgoing airflow. This is very important for critical processes, such as spraying paint.
• Suction power : The higher the suction power, in liters per minute, the faster the tank will refill with air. So the faster the air is available.
• Effective Air Delivery : This value, expressed in liters per minute, tells you what air volume the compressor is capable of delivering. Certainly in applications/tools such as blasting work and air wrenches, the required capacity can quickly rise to a value of more than 300 liters per minute.
• Oil-free or oil-lubricated : above we explained the differences between the two versions.
• Noise Level : Not every compressor makes the same amount of noise. Not important at all for some people, but you can imagine that when you have to work with a compressor for a while, it is nice not to experience too much noise.

STEP 5: DO I NEED ACCESSORIES?
Do you want to use the compressor for more than just blowing work? Make sure that your compressor has sufficient capacity to connect your accessories to the model. As explained before, not all pneumatic tools will work just like that on every compressor. Pneumatic tools, as pneumatic tools are called, are most commonly used in garages. Our range includes paint sprayers, blow guns, impact wrenches, chisel hammers and pneumatic ratchets. So make sure that your compressor has the option to connect your accessories. Finally, there are mainly 2 types of connections used in the market: the EURO (most common) or the ORION connection. A ll models industrial supplies by 9jabizz, are equipped with a Euro connector.
