A process involving the generation and management of a digital representation of physical functional characteristics of a facility. The resulting building information model became a shared knowledge resource for decision-making. By taking advantage of the features offered in 3D dimension programs, the fabricators could expand the scope of services and enhance the quality of the area such as presentation, documentation system and project management. SCE Detailing Group Inc. Provides an accurate, dynamic, and data-rich 3D environment that can be shared by contractors, structural engineers, steel detailers and fabricators, as well as concrete detailers and manufacturers BIM software as our primary detailing tool. It is the first system that covers the entire structural design process with the speed and scalability that steel detailing now requires.

The main benefit of the interactive and parametric 3D model is its easy handling of revisions where all connected list and drawings for the project can be updated automatically.
