It is, however, a good idea to run these minerals and vitamins that you choose, through your doctor, for they will be able to gauge and better prescribe whether you should take these or not. They might also prescribe just certain mineral or vitamin supplements instead of whole multivitamin tablets. They might ask you to get a test to tell your properly what you lack and what kinds of supplements will be best suited for you.
