French cuisine, is essential, the food of France, and consists of methods of cooking, which are unique to the country. The styles and recipes, always vary between the regions of the nation and the French cuisine has all the ingredients, which are used across the nation and meals, which are synonyms with French gastronomy, like quiche and coq au vin.

Food was a major part of ancient and medieval France, and gradually, they began to use wine and cheese. After, the French Revolution of 1789, the concept of restaurants, gradually emerged in the nation. Within, the 20th century, due to rapid advances in transportation, which connected, different parts of the country. Many regional specialties, became a part of the mainstream cuisine. This amazing garnish is nothing but buttermilk mixed with heavy cream. Crème Fraiche is used, in sauces and soups, and as a topping, like a bag of fruit.

4) Fleur de Sel

Fleur de Sel, conventional large salt crystals, which are formed, after the evaporation of seawater and belongs to Brittany. They are sprinkled over a finished item.


5) Herbes de provence

This is a fantastic fragrant, which are dried herbs from Provence, like thyme, rosemary, lavender, oregano, and tarragon, are integrated and used to increase, the taste of savory dishes, like roasted vegetables and chicken.

6) Truffles

Truffle is an incredible fungus, which is related to mushrooms, and usually, grow, in the oak tree shade, in the countryside, in France, and are used, for providing flavor, to dishes and cooking oils.

7) French Bread

The French people, love bread, which varies, from that of buttery, flaky croissants, to that of baguettes. French meal is incomplete without their favorite loaf.

8) Shallots

Shallots have a very mild taste and are extremely similar to onions and garlic, in taste and cooking. This vegetable is used extensively, in all kinds of cooking, tasty dishes.

There are hundreds of dishes, which are extremely popular, in France, which one must try and some of them are world-class.

1) Ratatouille

Ratatouille is an extremely popular dish, which consists of a combination of vegetables, like zucchini, brinjal, peppers, garlic, peppers, and onion, respectively and you will be able to create a thick soup.

2) Crepes

Crepes are nothing but thin pancakes, which are converted into tubes. You can fill the crepes, with jam, chocolate, custard and can be served as a delicate dish, along with eggs, ham, and ratatouille respectively.
