In the early 1980s Japanese car makers were recognized as market leaders in the manufacturing of compact and fuel-efficient cars. At that time General Motors attempted to enter this segment of industry with the launching of Chevrolet Cavalier. The car was welcomed in the market and remained there for a long time. Its life span continued from 1982 to 2005, a little less than a quarter century. During this period there were only two generations of the car, the first one lasted from 1982 to 1994 and the second from 1995 to 2005. From 1982 it was available as a wagon, a coupe, a sedan or a convertible. The wagon was discontinued in the second generation. In 1986 a sport version of the car was also introduced. An option of two types of engines was offered in the second generation. Some improvements were also made during this period. In 1999 the engine was improved in respect of emissions and fuel economy and its reliability was further enhanced.

With the growth of automobile industry the parallel industry of after market products has also grown. There is good reason for that. Howsoever much the car owners may like their car ...
... they always try to make it look more attractive and exclusive. The more visible parts of a car are better suited for this purpose, grilles are one of them. Numerous innovative designs and styles of grilles are available in the market. The car owners can use their discerning and aesthetic faculties to choose grilles in keeping with their requirements and taste. An easier way will be to select them online as it will save their time and bother. Grilles are generally made of aluminum or stainless steel. Aluminum is light yet strong and corrosion resistant. Stainless steel is very strong, and resists rust and corrosion. ABS plastic is also used in making grilles. These Cavalier grilles are light yet durable, and cheaper.

When you drive in Cavalier you will know how good is its handling and power. A Cavalier grille will give your personal touch to the car. You can see the latest Cavalier grilles at www.ilovebodykits.com.
