How To Heal Plantar Fasciitis?
If you are suffering from plantar fasciitis then get this one thing straight - there is no specific plantar fasciitis treatment. The moment you experience too much heel pain you should visit a podiatrist and get the heel checked. In most cases, the doctor will ask you to undergo the MRI & XRAY scan so that the doctor can check out the condition of the bones in your feet. Once the doctor has checked the report, he will ask you to undergo stretching exercises so that the blood flow in your entire body increases. The aim of the stretching exercises is to make your feet more flexible and in the process it will relax the muscles and tissues so that there are no cramps or anything.
When you are suffering from plantar fasciitis, your aim should be to reduce the heel pain, and for that there are many home remedies that are really very effective. These remedies are very simple, easy to follow and implement as well. Today, we are going to discuss about these remedies:
Keep two tubs of water near you - one should be filled with cold water and the other ...
... should have warm water in it. Dip your feet in the cold water first and then the warm water. Repeat this process for 15 mins. This will help the inflammation to go down and you will feel better.
Wear a night splinter when you go to sleep. The splinter will help to stretch your feet and will help it to relax. When you get up in the morning, the feet will feel better and you will be able to walk properly as well.
Discard all your shoes that have high heels and pointy ones. They make the feet uncomfortable and tend to increase the pain. You should wear shoes with a flat base so that comfort rules over style. Wear doctor shoes so that there is proper balance when you walk.
Try out stretching exercises for the leg and the feet. One popular and easy exercise is to keep a bottle of cold water under your feet and roll the feet over it. This will the ligaments to relax and the pain will be much less.
Use ice packs. Place the ice pack over the heel and let it cool the tingling sensation in your feet. Do this for 10-15 minutes so that the pain reduces.
Do not sit with your legs hanging for a long duration. It will increase the pain and you will face difficulty in walking when you get up.
Never walk bare foot, always wear slippers when at home and proper shoes when you step out.
Give your feet adequate rest everyday. Don’t stand for long durations, as that will aggravate the pain.
When you suffer from plantar fasciitis, you should take proper care of your feet on a daily basis. Dedicated and a committed approach will help you to deal with the pain better. Many people have recovered from this pain and so will you. There is nothing to worry about. If you have any queries or there are certain points on which you need clarifications, feel free to discuss it out with the podiatrist. Raise your questions and seek answers so that all your doubts are clarified. Don’t let your heel pain stand in your pain. With a planned approach you can deal with easily. Do not ignore this pain, as it tends to get worse with the passage of time. If you overlook the pain for long and don’t opt for any treatment, you may end up limping for the rest of your life.
