The individual investigation is a write up of six to twelve pages (10 Hours duration) weighing 20% of the final grade. IB Physics HL Tutors
Baccalaureate Classes has an experienced team of IB Physics HL tutors who are exceptionally good in teaching higher level physics. The IB Physics HL course contains eight core topics having IB physics tutoring duration of 95 hours, four additional higher level (AHL) topics of duration 60 hours, one optional topic of duration 25 hours and a practical scheme of work of IB physics tutoring duration of 60 hours). The assessment model of physics HL consists of three papers. Paper 1 is a one hour exam which contains 40 multiple-choice questions weighing 20% of the final grade. Paper 2 is a 2.25 hours exam which contains short-answer and extended-response questions (core & AHL) weighing 36% of the final grade. Paper 3 is 1.25 hours exam which contains data-and-practical-based questions plus short-answer and extended-response questions based on the optional topics; weighing 24% of the final grade. We know that IB physics IA is a very important part of the course, so our IB physics teacher also helps the students in selecting the IB Physics IA topics and also guide them in throughout development of the physics IA. The internal assessment is of 10 hours duration and this individual investigation is a six to twelve pages write up weighing 20% of the final grade.
