Heel pain is one of the most common foot ailments that most of us suffer from. And the plantar fasciitis symptoms are easy to detect as well. If you experience a stabbing pain in the bottom of your foot near the heel it means you are suffering from plantar fasciitis. This ailment is most common amongst runners, overweight people and those who wear wrong shoes. If you not comfortable wearing the shoe and if you continue to wear it then in the long run you are sure to suffer from plantar fasciitis. The pain gets worse when you wake up in the morning and even right after you exercise. Surprisingly you will not feel the pain when you are exercising but after it is over. If you do not take proper care of your feet then you are going to suffer in the long run.
If you have an itching problem in one of the eyes and water is dripping from it, what do you do? Don’t you visit the eye specialist in such a situation? Then why do you avoid visiting an orthopedic when you suffer from heel pain? You should visit the doctor the moment the initial signs become apparent. ...
... Explain to the doctor the extent of the pain that you are experiencing. Answer all his answers carefully and properly so that he can administer the future course of treatment. In case, you are not visiting the doctor for whatever reason, why don’t you try out the below home remedies?
Wear a night splint before going to sleep. This splint will stretch your feet and will help to ease out the pain while you sleep so that when you get up the next morning you do not experience the tingling pain.
Use an ice pack and put your feet above it. Do it for five minutes for several times.
You can also soak you feet in a tub filled with cold and hot water. Soak your feet in an alternate fashion so that the pain reduces.
Take a stock of the shoes that you wear. Get rid of the ones that have pointy heels and are uncomfortable to wear. Invest in a shoe that is comfortable; ensure a proper balance when you walk so that the pain is not aggravated.
Try out stretching exercises at home. Watch the stretching exercises on YouTube to learn how to stretch your feet and legs so that you do not suffer from any kind of cramps or ligament tear. Stretching exercises will improve the blood flow in your body and your flexibility and activeness will improve as well.
Try these out at home. They are relatively simple, easy to follow and practice on a regular basis as well. So what are you waiting for? Try them out today so that the pain gets reduced and you heal faster and in a better way. In case the pain is not mild and is getting severe with every passing day, you should visit an orthopedic immediately. The orthopedic will ask you to undergo an X-Ray and some other tests in order to determine the intensity of the pain and the existing condition of your feet. He will then advice the future course of action.
Make sure that you follow all the instructions of the doctor if you would like to heal properly. Plantar fasciitis when dealt with properly can be healed completely. Ignoring the pain only aggravates the condition and delays the healing process. So you should ignore it at all costs. What do you think? Share your views in the comments section.
