Holy basil, as the name suggests truly is holy due to its medicinal properties and soothing effects. It not only helps in relieving cough, but also helps in boosting the overall immunity.
Turmeric Milk
Turmeric is known to be a medicinal part as per ancient Ayurveda too. Turmeric is known for its antibiotic properties. Take half a teaspoon of turmeric and mix it well in hot milk. Drink it at night for three days for a quick relief. You can also add turmeric to lukewarm water and gargle with it to heal the soreness in your throat.
It’s important to keep a track of the cold and take the right medication if it doesn’t go away. If the cough escalates, it can not only cause an infection in the throat but also make you feel low. The home remedies won’t be super effective if this is the case of your throat. You can also choose a cough syrup that suits you. Sometimes lozenges and syrups can make you dizzy. There are a variety of options available in the market for you to choose from. In conclusion, a sore throat might sound minute in the moment, but it can create trouble if it escalates.
