Popular 2020 Fitness Resolutions
In the new year there are always tons of resolutions floating around. Your notes app may be filled with fitness resolutions to eat health bars, consume more protein, and fresh produce. However, the problem with these resolutions are, that they fizzle out very quickly. By the time February rolls around most resolutions have faded away and people are back to their original habits.
Common New Year’s Fitness Resolutions are:
Eating healthy: Eating healthy is one of the most popular New Year’s resolutions, one that people often fail within a couple of months. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, are generally what people consume when on diets. Dieting is also another fad that people take up in the new year. Keto, Paleo, intermittent fasting, Vegan, juice fasts, raw food are some of the diets that people try to follow thinking it will lead to rapid weight loss. However, the key is to eat homemade food which contains local grains, and fresh vegetables. Homemade food means you can control the amount of oil and fat.
Daily runs: Running is a hobby that many people take up, especially because most want to have a target ...
... of running a marathon in the following year. Running is a great form of cardio, and it helps you lose weight. However, it is important to start slowly and then build up your endurance and stamina.
Losing weight: Losing weight should not be a goal, instead you should focus on getting fitter and healthier. Eating healthy, natural ingredients, home cooked meals will get you better results than trying momentary diets and juice fasts to lose weight. Meal replacement bars are also a good way to get your fill of protein and maintain a balanced diet. Many people also try to cut out drinking from their diet, which is helpful as some alcohols contain a lot of calories.
Going to the Gym Daily: Gym memberships go up at the beginning of the year, as everyone tries to become healthier and exercise every single day. Getting a membership motivates some people to workout at least thrice a week. It sometimes helps to have a gym partner so that you can motivate each other to go to the gym, it helps you maintain your resolution.
Staying active during work hours: Doing little exercises when you have a desk job helps in keeping you agile and active. You can stand up and walk around once every hour. Taking walks post lunch helps in digesting food as well. Stretching your neck and back once every couple of hours prevents soreness and your muscles from getting tight.
At work it is often advised to get a protein bar price of which is now reasonable and affordable to the working class. Other fitness resolutions include quitting smoking, as smoking is extremely detrimental to your physical health.
The best way to make sure you achieve your fitness goals is to start small. You must make sure you start exercising for a minimum of 10 minutes each day, and then slowly up your time and stamina.
