Method
The article discusses a quantitative study on the causal model of health. A stratified four-stage random sampling technique was used to obtain the study participants. The study combines multiple data collection questionnaires to explore different factors among the participants. The use of the qualitative method of research was appropriate for this study as the researcher needed to compare data in a systematic manner so as to make generalizations to a whole population.

This study adopts a qualitative approach in examining how HIV-related stigma impact families living with HIV/AIDS in China.
