10 Digital Marketing Tools You Must Use In 2025

If you're a person who's reading about digital marketing or perhaps thinking of it, I figured I'd sit down and offer something personal and helpful to you.

I began my digital marketing journey some time back, and believe me, it was all a mixed-up thing in the beginning. So many phrases. So many sites. So many tools. I would confuse myself —like, seriously, where do I even start?

But gradually, something clicked to me:
You don't have to know everything. You just have to apply the right tools, step by step.

Whatever freelancing you're indulging in, or owning your own brand, or taking a digital marketing course in Delhi, having the right tools in your pocket makes learning and working 10 times simpler.

So here's a word from one student to another. These are 10 online marketing tools which actually worked wonders for me, and they will do the same to you as well — especially in 2025, when marketing is faster than ever before.

1. Canva
Let me be blunt — I am not a designer. But once I began working with Canva, everything changed. It made me believe that I actually could create pretty ...
... posts, banners, thumbnails, and even presentations.

It's drag and drop, no technical knowledge required.
If you ever feel that your post is as dull as possible, use Canva. You'll be proud of your work.

2. SEMrush
This program seems intimidating to get started with, I won't lie. But once you know how to use it, you'll adore it. SEMrush made me see how my site was performing, what other people were looking for, and even how the competition ranked.

If you're learning SEO or if your business does SEO, please try SEMrush.

3. ChatGPT
Yes, this very computer that you're reading from right now. It's been a great buddy of mine when I write. Sometimes I'm at a standstill — I don't know what to write and how to express something in simple words.

That's when I open up ChatGPT and just chat. It gets my ideas started, tells me how to write, and essentially, just acts as a creative business partner.
It does not substitute for my work, but it assists.

4. Google Analytics 4
I used to look at how many people were coming to my site by way of the old Google Analytics. But GA4 is the latest version, and it gives more detailed information — like where people are coming from, what they're clicking on, and how long they're around.

If you have a website or a blog, do introduce yourself to GA4. Though it may look complex at the start, it's worth it.

5. Mailchimp
Email marketing is dull, right? That's what I used to think.

But when I began to use Mailchimp, I realized how easy and enjoyable it is. You could create nice emails, send them to the targeted audience, and even automate responses.

If you ever have to build an email list or sell anything — believe me, email still works.

6. Ubersuggest
This is perfect if you're just starting out with SEO. It's from Neil Patel and provides you with keyword ideas, informs you about how your site is performing, and provides suggestions in a useful way.

When I was studying my digital marketing course in Delhi, our instructor taught us Ubersuggest, and I still employ it.

7. HubSpot
Now this is seriously advanced — but it's terrific. It assists you in managing your customers, email, and follow up with leads and communications.

If you are going to be working with clients or a business, listing HubSpot on your resume will truly make you stand out.

8. Buffer
There were times I forgot to post on Instagram. Or simply did not want to. Buffer took care of that.

You can schedule your posts for the whole week (month), and Buffer will publish them for you.
Clean, simple, and such a godsend!

9. Surfer SEO
You ever wonder how some blogs take over Google? It's not just luck.

Surfer SEO enables you to create rankable content. It compares your blog to number one pages and reveals to you what you are lacking — such as what keywords to use, how long your post should be, etc.

You would feel like sitting with a genius editor who would sit down with you and write together with you.

10. Zapier
Alright, this one is magic.

Zapier integrates other apps. For instance, if someone submits a form on your site, Zapier will automatically update them in your Google Sheet, notify you, and even send them an email — all of this without your actual involvement.

It saves you time like crazy. You'll be hooked once you get into it.

My frank advice to you
I know that this is a really long note, and you won't even attempt all 10 tools today. That's okay. You don't need to attempt to do them all at once.

Begin with 1 or 2 tools. Experiment with them. Make errors. That's the way you learn.

When I was studying with my digital marketing course in Delhi, these tools terrified me. But once I played with them, I knew they're not terrifying. They're designed for people like us — learners, makers, dreamers.
