Total Articles: 52
The next big elections are not too far away. After the Delhi assembly elections results, the political environment is changing. With BJP and Congress, now AAP is also prepared for the big fight. Every individual party has its own ideologies and strategies that they are yet to follow. This year it will be interesting to watch who will defeat the other two and form the next central government. The whole nation is getting involved in this race of big elections. Starting from the common man to the high profile executives, eminent personalities and celebrities, people all over the country are expressing their views and also involving themselves in the election activities in some way or the other.
Kiran bedi, former IPS officer and Anna Hazare's key aide recently made headlines when she came up with her decision to support Narendra Modi and vote for him in Lok Sabha elections. Kiran Bedi on her social networking site twitter tweeted that “"For me it is India First! Stable, Well Governed, Administered, Accountable and Inclusive. As an independent voter, my vote is for NaMo." This tweet has made it clear that her vote goes to Narendra Modi in the next elections. This is not the first time that Kiran Bedi has backed Modi, but earlier also, while delivering a speech in Ahmedabad, last October she supported Narendra Modi for the kind of work he has delivered.
She seems to be really impressed with the kind of development Gujarat has come across in the past few years under the reign of Narendra Modi and his ruling government. She even stated that Modi’s nomination as BJP’s PM candidate will bring more clarity among voters to make their choices for betterment. While supporting Modi, she attacked AAP and Arvind Kejriwal stating that for stability and better governance, experienced hands are more needed and new parties will not be able to live up to this criteria.
Arvind Kejriwal appeared not at all worried by her statement and veiled the attack. It has not created any impact on Arvind Kejriwal. When asked about the matter, he firmly replied that he is not at all upset with the declaration and that Bedi is an individual and has the right to speak her mind. In the meanwhile, he is busy with Delhi’s development process. Recently, Kejriwal came up with an anti-corruption helpline for every civilian of the state who is falling prey to the clasps of corruption. Within a day the helpline bell reached up to 4000 calls and still the phone continued to ring. This is a helpline that will eradicate corruption from its roots and will bring healthy atmosphere in the national capital. Up next is the Lok Sabha election that is consuming pretty much time of his, in his busy schedule. Kejriwal and his AAP are getting ready for the next elections. They are yet to declare the list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections along with announcement of their prime ministerial candidate. The Lok Sabha elections will bring about a new change in the nation.
