Race To India’s Prime Ministerial Seat Is Heating Up

Winter has arrived in and the country is wrapped with shivering days and chill nights, but the political system of the country seems to get hotter in the days to come. The political air of the country is gearing up for its next prime ministerial elections going to be held in the mid of year 2014. The 16th Lok Sabha elections are the talk of the nation in the recent times. With the Delhi assembly polls result out, the interest in the next elections has increased largely.
The race to be the next prime minister includes some of the most eminent names in the recent political scenario of the country. Each national party has their capable candidates for the upcoming election. The rat race has already begun and every party is looking forward to make new promises with its various new principles. Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat, one of the strong candidates in the 16th Lok Sabha elections of 2014 is prepared with his speeches and with his promises. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for prime ministerial elections is not the only one, but the list also includes the Vice President of Congress, Rahul Gandhi, a major candidate himself and has a long political lineage behind him.
From a simple tea seller in a small district in Gujarat to the prime ministerial seat, the journey has been quite long and hectic for Narendra Modi. The BJP party leaders and the workers are very confident with the selection of the perfect candidate who is also one of the Popular Leaders of the country. Modi, very focused and affluent with his speeches, is holding lots of meetings and rallies across the country to make people aware of the party’s policies and to inform the future plans to them. But the rallies do not end here. The rallies includes aggressive attitude towards the opposition party members and on their worksheet. For the past few months BJP and Congress are on a tide to prove the other wrong. Rahul Gandhi, the youth icon of the country is into the race as well. He left no stones unturned to pinch and pin point the other opposition parties through his debates and speeches. Apart from these two renowned candidates, we also have Arvind Kejriwal in the list. Arvind Kejriwal, the chief of newly formed party named Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is also a competing candidate in the coming elections.
Each candidate and their party members seem to have pulled up their socks and are ready with their set of ideologies presented before the public. Where the Gujarat Chief Minister is busy in promoting India with his developmental agenda and to drive out corruption from the nation; in the same way, Arvind Kejriwal is also looking forward to sweep off corruption from its roots and make the country healthy. Rahul Gandhi whereas has other set of dreams, he focuses on rural jobs programme, right to education, food security and so on.
Just a few months of wait, then India will decide as to the kind of future it hopes for the nation and its people.
