Conceiving the idea: The very cornerstone of your online business. Many folks find the ‘ideas stage' in deciding what to write about the most gruelling part in their quest to write a book. Fear not. Ever heard the cliché that everyone has a book inside them? It may be a cliché but it is the damn truth! I would like to go on to say that most people have several books inside them.
Consider the transferable skills you have in your profession, career or chosen hobby. If you're a sales person, you will invariably possess skills in negotiation, reading body language and closing the sale.
Guess what, there are three books there! If you own a successful business or enterprise – you can write about what you did and what the competition didn't. If you love football, cricket, basketball...guess what - write about it; ‘Explosive training guide to....' If you are passionate about gardening, you can write a ‘How to Guide' for every plant species you have successfully germinated. Believe it or not, those niches are the very niches that sell – and I mean really sell!
Remember, as long as you can demonstrate you know more than 1% of any particular subject compared to your average Tom, Dick, Harry, Sharon, Stacey or Mohammed – then you will be in business!

If a product or service was recommended by a third party in the context of a conversation or cunningly imbedded in a relating article or text without the notion of any intended financial gain for the messenger, it is more likely to bulldoze the cynicism and make the recommendation more credible in the process. Let's take a look at an example:
Julia's has just finished her eBook on dating. She can easily bolt on several additional income streams to her book, in order to maximise profit potential:

You are not a government welfare programme! Simply seek out the vendors who do give commissions and sign up to their affiliate programme so that you can benefit from yet more streams of residual income after the sale of your eBook.
