What comes prior while listening to the word Engineering is versatile. We immediately get drawn to the culture where there’s lot of possibilities to be accomplished, such a platform is provided by doing engineering. It is said experiments never match expectations, as in case of practical never reach theory, but to prove this opinion contrary is the goal of an engineer. Engineering is the study of development, progress and new possibilities i.e., building, designing, machines and technology. Engineering is an action to bring about solutions to the mankind and serve for their beneficial. An engineer’s life revolves around problem solving, with the least of the available resources. Being an engineer provides a satisfaction in any field of work as we provide solutions or develop technologies for the current demand. Engineering facilitate with variety of career opportunities that ranges almost in all fields of work, but engineering is the most challenging work as there will be plenty of demands, targets, projects, problems to be dealt with and on the other hand no answer, no predefined solution, no perfect guidance will be there. ...

With engineering there will be an intellectual development i.e., we start thinking logically and start providing with solution or alternatives that goes best for the required work. In today’s world even though engineering has gone down as a part of graduation but still there is a prestige while saying ‘I am an engineer', it proves us being a living example of versatility i.e., multitalented. Based on the field of work today we have many engineering specializations which a student can choose to the environment he/she likes to deal with. Engineers are often called as creators or developers as there are rapid social and technological updates, it’s the duty of an engineer to think and develop for a better functioning. Creativity is greater now than before. A good engineer is bound by the ethics that he/she should follow to live up for society, but he requires strong foundation in his core subject. It is due to the education system that is provided to the student. The system tames the syllabus according to the availability but does not check with the proper requirements that are actually needed. Engineering students galore but nation is not aware of the count, nation still deals with unemployment issues, but it’s not due to the fault of engineering. We can never force anyone for what to grasp we can only guide about the trending and available education. Becoming an engineer is ones choice to serve for society or passion to outthink. Engineering gives a platform to apply innovative techniques to problems by implementing the right tool or algorithm to the problem, for such implementation one requires flexible thinking and logical reasoning. Engineering lets us to adapt on various problems and find out the most suitable solution. Engineer’s problem solving revolves around seven stages-

This proves that an engineer dedicate his/her life to the mankind directly or indirectly to reach the most versatile solution to the problem. Hence, engineering is next to versatility.
