No pressure on us ahead of ICC CT final: Kohli
London, Jun 17 (UNI) Indian skipper Virat Kohli today denied any pressure on team India when they play against Pakistan in the mega-final of the ICC Champions Trophy here tomorrow.
"We will not play under any pressure, and the last record against Pakistan doesn't matter to us. We will play finals like any other matches," said Kohli during the pre-match press conference here.
"People expect us to do well every time, but that is not possible frequently. I know there are great expectations. It is very important to realise the things that might or might not happen in the game. And you have to be close to reality and you can't live in a dilemma and you have to focus on the things that you have to do on the field," he added.
Speaking on Pakistan come back into the tournament Kohli said we will not take them lightly either, however, we are confident and have full faith in our abilities.
"We are not looking to change too many things and I will always back a player like Hardik as he provides a good balance to the squad. He can bat, he can bowl, he is ...
... just a complete package," said Kohli.
Virat also sent his best wishes to Indian Hockey team who are slated to play against Pakistan in the World Hockey League in London tomorrow.
