Great News For Vapers Around The World

The latest survey on the effect of vaping among vapers who earlier used to smoke traditional cigarettes was recently conducted. The study shows that those who vape are less prone to respiratory health infections on comparison with cigarettes. This e-survey was conducted online which received responses from over 941 individuals from across the world. The responses were then assessed in terms of the subjective changes in the respiratory systems that occurred during a 2-month time period. The study was led by Queen Mary University of London (QMUL).
The results of the survey were published in the Journal of Addiction Research & Therapy stated that 66 per cent of respondents reported an improvement in respiratory symptoms. While, 29 per cent reported no change at all in their symptoms and just about 5 per cent reported their symptoms to be worsening.
Senior Professor Peter Hajek from QMIL who was one of the lead researchers in this survey said, “There is no doubt that e-cigarettes are much safer than conventional cigarettes, but smokers are still led to believe that they’re dangerous.” He further said, “This ...
... misinformation includes a misreported study on rats that claimed that vaping may increase vulnerability to infections. These new findings from human vapers show that this is not the case. However, the present results provide sufficient information to suggest that vaping does not increase infection rates and may in fact lead to a decrease in infections.”
Earlier there were some cell and animal studies conducted which suggested that vaping might increase vulnerability to infection. But, these older studies did not use any realistic exposure level. In fact, human trials clearly indicate that no significant adverse respiratory effects can be linked with vaping. Moreover, a follow-up study pointed that, asthma patients who were ex-smokers but now have switched to vaping found exceptional improvements.
Interestingly, the researchers of this survey mention that they predicted that the respondents will see improvements in their respiratory health. The reason for this, they said, was because smoking adversely increases the susceptibility to various respiratory infections. Thereby, stopping smoking is expected to show positive results. In addition to this, vaping may provide some antimicrobial protection through various e-liquid ingredients.
Thus, vaping is an excellent alternative to smoking. If you are just beginning or planning to switch to vaping then it’s suggested to firstly buy electronic cigarette online in India. You can opt for Vape Stop, India’s leading online vape shop offering a brilliant array of vape products in globally reputed brands.
